LMC revises budget to Rs 2.3kcr, focus on roads

The focus of the budget is on roads, solid waste management, street lighting, and new projects. The LMC plans to increase income by collecting taxes from new properties and addressing big defaulters. The budget allocation for road repair and construction has significantly increased, as has the allocation for solid waste management. Other areas, such as water works, streetlights, park maintenance, and gaushalas, have also received increased funding. The LMC aims to increase tax collection by including new properties in their tax system.
