Madras high court overturns 2 DMK mantris’ acquittal in DA cases

The Madras High Court overturned the acquittal of DMK ministers KKSSR Ramachandran and Thangam Thennarasu in separate corruption cases. The court ordered them to appear at the Virudhunagar special court in September to face new charges. The court criticized the misuse of power to quash criminal charges and directed further investigation into the matter.
