Maharashtra: Students at a loss after panel cancels 141 MBBS admissions

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has invalidated all admissions confirmed after September 30 in private colleges in Pune, India. This move comes after the admissions were conducted in violation of a directive issued by the NMC in July. Niharika Jain, a student who secured an MBBS seat after two attempts, is now unable to continue her education due to this invalidation. The NMC had previously warned that admissions conducted after the cut-off date would not be acceptable.
