Maharashtra-Telangana highway blocked by protesters

Maratha quota protesters blocked the Nanded-Hyderabad highway by placing blazing tyres on the road and staging a sit-in, disrupting traffic for hours on Monday. Vehicles remained stranded on both sides of the four-lane highway for several kilometres in Nanded district.
