Man held in UP for Rs 3 crore ‘digital arrest’ con

A 27-year-old man from Bahraich, UP was arrested by Uttarakhand STF and state cyber police for allegedly defrauding a Dehradun resident of Rs 3 crore. The accused, Manoj Kumar, posed as a Mumbai police officer and pressured the victim into transferring the amount by claiming involvement in a money laundering and drug trafficking case.
