Man linked to radicalisation bid arrested at Bengaluru airport by NIA

Aziz Ahmed, a key member of Hizb-ut-Tahrir, was apprehended by NIA at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport just before escaping. Ahmed aimed to radicalise youth for an Islamic caliphate in India. The ongoing investigation also includes six individuals previously arrested under UAPA in May for similar activities.
