The iconic Balapur Ganesha laddu, weighing 21 kg, was auctioned for Rs 30.01 lakh, breaking previous records. The auction attracted over 20 participants and concluded in less than 10 minutes. This tradition, part of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Balapur, has been ongoing for 30 years since its inception in 1994.
