Master jewel thief held in Chhattisgarh for Rs 25 crore Delhi heist

A lone wolf thief named Lokesh Srivas has been arrested for a heist at Umrao Singh Jewellers in Delhi, where he managed to steal around Rs 20-25 crore worth of jewellery and cash. Srivas spent 18 hours inside the showroom, using clothes to create a curtain and a gas cutter to enter the strongroom. The police also suspect the possible involvement of an insider in the operation. Srivas has previously carried out similar burglaries in other states and was planning to change his appearance through plastic surgery.
