MCD schedules elections for wards and standing committees on September 4

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will conduct elections for chairmen, deputy chairmen, and standing committee members for 12 ward committees on September 4 at the Civic Centre. Secret ballots will be used to select candidates. This comes after a long period of policy paralysis due to the inactivity of these committees.
