MCG set to kick off repair work on damaged internal roads soon

The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) commissioner has instructed the engineering wing to reconstruct and repair internal roads in the city. Estimates will also be prepared for damaged 18-metre and 24-metre roads, and efforts will be made to make them motorable. Residents have complained about the poor condition of the internal roads and lack of maintenance by MCG. They also highlighted the lack of monitoring of contractors’ work as a reason for the deteriorating road conditions. The MCG vigilance wing is currently investigating allegations of corruption against a contractor in Sector 10.
