Met spies 3°C drop in night temp by Monday

The night temperatures in Kolkata are expected to drop by up to 3°C over the weekend, while the maximum temperatures will remain stable around 32°C. The arrival of northwesterly winds may be responsible for the cooler nights. The minimum temperature is expected to rise again by the middle of next week. Once the festive lights are removed from the streets, the real feel minimum temperature may fall from 33°C to below 23°C. The overcast sky on Friday is expected to be replaced by sunny days ahead.
