Metro employee assaults bus conductor after told to vacate ladies’ seat, buy ticket

A PMPML bus conductor was attacked by a Metro rail employee with a steel bracelet after he asked the employee to vacate a ladies’ seat and buy a ticket. The incident took place in Pune, and the assailant has been detained by the police. The conductor suffered a head injury and received four stitches. The police are in the process of arresting the assailant on charges of assault and obstructing a public servant. Blood samples have been collected for analysis.
