MHA approves creation of five new districts in Ladakh

The Home Ministry approved the creation of five new districts in Ladakh to enhance governance and development at the grassroots level. This move will split the Union Territory into seven districts. A committee will assess the logistics for each new district, which must submit its report within three months. PM Modi termed it a step towards prosperity.
