Microsoft may be working to develop AI chatbots that require less computing power

Microsoft forms GenAI team to develop conversational AI models for small businesses. The team includes top AI developers from Microsoft’s research group. The move is aimed at catering to the needs of financially sound businesses. Microsoft also announces ‘Microsoft Copilot Pro’ for $20 per month offering more powerful capabilities. Last year, Microsoft released the Phi-2 language model which outperforms competitors on benchmarks.
