Microsoft outage: Cyber security agency has ‘warning on CrowdStrike’

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) warned users about phishing campaigns exploiting the recent Microsoft Windows outage, which occurred due to a faulty CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor update. Scammers posed as CrowdStrike support, distributing trojan malware disguising as recovery tools, leading to data leakage and system crashes. CERT-In provided URLs to block for protection.
