Ministry of Education calls on states to implement school safety guidelines

The Ministry of Education has instructed all States and UTs to implement the “Guidelines on School Safety and Security-2021” to enhance child protection in schools, following Supreme Court directives. These guidelines, aligned with the POCSO Act, focus on accountability, preventive education, and safety procedures. They aim to foster a safe learning environment and empower stakeholders to uphold child safety in schools.
