Minor raped & sold by dad, forced into flesh trade by spouse

A minor girl in Varanasi was raped by her father for over two years before being sold to a man in Ghazipur in the name of marriage. The husband forced her into prostitution and abandoned her when she couldn’t terminate her pregnancy. The girl sought help from the district legal services authority, who informed the police and both the father and husband were taken into custody. An FIR has been lodged against them under various sections of the IPC and POCSO. Investigation is underway.
