Missing cop found dead, foul play alleged

Sudheesh Parambath, a Senior CPO of Kuttiady station, was found dead in a building in Kuttiady town. It is suspected that he committed suicide due to work pressure. Congress activists and residents protested, alleging foul play and demanding a judicial enquiry. The inquest proceedings were held late at night, without the presence of the RDO, leading to allegations of evidence destruction. The body was handed over to his family after an autopsy and was cremated at his house compound.
