Moitra accuses ethics panel chair of ‘sordid’ behaviour

Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra has accused the chairman of the ethics panel of displaying unethical behavior towards her and has written a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker seeking protection. Moitra is currently under investigation by the Ethics Committee after being accused by BJP member Nishikant Dubey of accepting bribes in return for asking questions on behalf of a businessman. Moitra has admitted to sharing her log-in credentials but denies any pecuniary motive and claims that the charges are politically motivated.
