‘Moon Sniper’ dead? Japan holds on to ray of hope to revive lander

Japan’s Slim lunar lander, which successfully landed on the Moon but had solar panel issues, may still be able to generate power. The probe’s solar panels are currently facing away from sunlight, but if sunlight shines from the west, power generation is possible. Japan’s space agency will provide an update on Slim’s status soon.
