More aid flights arrive in Egypt’s Sinai, awaiting passage to Gaza

New aid flights have arrived in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, where relief materials are being held until safe passage into the Gaza Strip can be secured. The Rafah crossing, which connects Sinai with Gaza, remains open on the Egyptian side, despite traffic being halted due to Israeli bombardments. Egyptian security forces have reinforced security on their side of the border, but reports of sealing off the crossing were incorrect.
