MoS for civil aviation Murlidhar Mohol requests for Pune airport to be named on Sant Tukaram Maharaaj

Minister Murlidhar Mohol requested the state government to propose renaming Pune’s Lohegaon airport after Jagatguru Santshreshtha Tukaram Maharaaj. Following needed approvals, the proposal will be sent to the centre. Simultaneously, the Airports Authority of India initiated a renovation plan for the old terminal building, adding 16 check-in counters and other facilities by March 2025.
