Multiple earthquakes jolt different parts of India
Multiple parts of India were shaken by earthquakes on Friday morning, including Chengalpet in Tamil Nadu, Vijayapura in Karnataka, Rajkot in Gujarat, and Shillong in Meghalaya. The earthquakes had varying magnitudes and were closely monitored by local authorities. While there were no immediate reports of significant damage or casualties, the seismic activity has raised concerns in these regions. The tremors in Chengalpet, Tamil Nadu, had a magnitude of 3.2 and a depth of 10 km. In Vijayapura, Karnataka, the magnitude was 3.0 and the epicenter was located southeast of Ukumanal village.
