Mumbai couple to invest Rs 1,100 cr in SpiceJet

Harihara Mahapatra and his wife plan to invest Rs 1,100 crore in SpiceJet, acquiring a 19% stake. The funds will be utilized for various purposes such as settling past dues, acquiring new aircraft, and compensating employees. The investment will decrease promoter Ajay Singh’s shareholding in the airline.
