MVA seat-sharing pact: Sharad Pawar steps in, Congress, Sena (UBT) agree on 85 seats each; silent on 15 disputed seats

Less than a week before the filing deadline for assembly polls, Sharad Pawar intervened to broker a seat-sharing agreement among Congress, NCP (SP), and Sena (UBT), covering 255 seats, while leaving 18 for smaller allies. Sena (UBT) has announced candidates for 65 seats, including two disputed ones in Mumbai. Fifteen seats remain contested.
