NC MLA detained at Srinagar airport for pistol bullets in baggage

National Conference MLA Bashir Ahmad Veeri was detained and questioned at Srinagar airport after security staff found two live pistol bullets in his baggage during an X-ray scan. Veeri was released after proving the bullets were from his licensed pistol, though carrying them in baggage is prohibited during air travel.
