New ‘Pride and Prejudice’ series in development, Dolly Alderton to pen script

Netflix is developing a new series based on Jane Austen’s classic, Pride and Prejudice, written by bestselling author Dolly Alderton. The adaptation follows their previous project, Persuasion. This comes alongside BBC’s announcement of a spin-off series, The Other Bennet Sister.
