Researchers at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Ahmedabad have been granted a patent for an ornithopter-based aerial defense system. The system comprises a swarm of ornithopters equipped with sensors capable of detecting and tracking alien drones. The ornithopters can be programmed to perform tasks such as jamming and capturing unauthorized drones. The system uses swarm intelligence, allowing the ro-birds to communicate and cooperate as a team. The researchers believe the system could be used in both military and civilian applications.
