Nivin Pauly questioned by SIT over alleged rape case; actor denies allegations as ‘fabricated’

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly was questioned by the Kerala police’s SIT on 1 October regarding a rape case filed against him. The complaint, lodged by a woman from Neriamangalam, alleges that Nivin Pauly and four others assaulted her in a Dubai hotel in November 2022. The actor denied the allegations, citing a conspiracy and providing an alibi that he was shooting in Kochi at the time. Co-stars and crew from the film ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ have supported his claim.
