Hyderabad’s paan shops are facing stringent action as excise officials crack down on ‘bhang golis,’ cannabis-infused chocolates, smuggled from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. These odourless products, difficult to detect, have surged despite the Telangana Excise Act banning cannabis leaf consumption.
