No lessons learnt from Nirbhaya case, juveniles get away too lightly: HC

Justice Subodh Abhyankar of the Indore bench, Madhya Pradesh high court, expressed concern over lenient treatment of juveniles in serious crimes. Dismissing a rape offender’s appeal who escaped from a juvenile home, he stressed the need for stricter laws and cited lessons unlearned from the Nirbhaya case.
