No mention of Ladli Behna scheme in MP governor’s address

Madhya Pradesh governor Mangubhai Patel listed the government’s welfare and development schemes in his address to the 16th assembly on Wednesday, but surprisingly, he excluded the Ladli Behna Yojana, a women-oriented scheme launched by former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Congress MLAs Ram Niwas Rawat and Bala Bachchan pointed out the absence of the scheme during the governor’s speech. CM Mohan Yadav clarified that women empowerment schemes will not be affected, while Chouhan assured that the Ladli Behna scheme will continue.
