‘No place for Zionism’: US college slams Israel over Gaza conflict

A controversy has erupted at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where resident advisers at one of the campus dorms sent an email expressing anti-Israel sentiments to students. The email criticized Israel for its actions against Hamas and stated that there should be no place for Zionism within the college community. The residence hall leaders also pledged to donate to an organization supporting Palestinians affected by the conflict. The college president acknowledged the incident and emphasized the importance of inclusivity and learning across difference.
