On-road pollution by city vehicles exceeds emission limits: Study

A recent study by the International Council on Clean Transportation revealed that vehicles in Delhi and Gurgaon, including BS VI compliant ones, emit more pollutants in real-world conditions than laboratory tests suggest. The study highlighted the inadequacies of current Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates and suggested using remote sensing technology for more accurate emissions testing.
