Operation Triangulation: Hackers can take control of iOS devices, warns Kaspersky

Kaspersky has revealed a cyber threat called Operation Triangulation that targets Apple iOS devices. The threat allows attackers to gain complete control over the device and its user data without any user interaction. Kaspersky experts discovered five vulnerabilities, four of which were previously unknown, that the attackers exploited to carry out the attacks. The threat can infect devices through iMessage and the Safari web browser. To protect themselves, users are advised to exercise caution when handling iMessage attachments, update their software regularly, and verify the sender’s identity before sharing personal details or clicking on suspicious links.
