Patel’s olive branch spurned in Sanchore, 18 mandal secys quit

Devji Patel, the BJP candidate from Sanchore, reached out to his opponents, Jeewaram Chaudhary and Danaram Chaudhary, in an attempt to resolve the ongoing revolt against him. Patel assured them that his candidature was decided by the party and he had no involvement in it. However, his explanations failed to convince them, leading to more resignations from the party. Jeewaram’s name was proposed as an alternative, but it is unlikely to be accepted as he has not been successful in previous elections.
