‘Pilot baba’ laid to rest at ashram in Haridwar

Pilot baba, formerly Wing Commander Kapil Singh of the Indian Air Force, was buried in Haridwar following his death. After retiring in 1974, he became a spiritual leader, performing yogic feats and engaging in philanthropy. Controversies marred his journey, including incidents during the Kumbh Mela and a fraud case in 2019.
