Portions of building owned by absconding Mukhtar aide razed

Illegal portions in the building owned by Riyaz Ansari, the close aide of jailed mafia don Mukhtar Ansari, and chairman of Bahadurganj municipality, were demolished in a joint action by the district administration and police in Ghazipur district. Riyaz’s wife, Nikahat Parvin, former chairperson of Bahadurganj municipality, is in jail for using a fake marksheet to secure a job. Riyaz, who is absconding, had engaged in illegal activities by misusing his position and the terror of Mukhtar. The illegal construction was carried out without getting the map approved on a plot owned by Riyaz’s wife.
