‘Power’ not served here: Raj mahal hosts VIPs without electricity

Jogi Mahal in Ranthambore, constructed 700 years ago by Rao Hammir, is an unelectrified forest rest house named after Nath sect followers. The two-floor, eight-room historic building overlooks a crocodile-filled lake. VIPs, including Prime Ministers, stayed without electricity before the 2005 ban on overnight stays. Entry is now strictly prohibited.
