Toronto, Canada’s most populous city, faced heavy rain and a storm on Tuesday, causing power outages and the closure of major roads, highways, and important transit hubs. The city saw nearly 100mm of rain, breaking the previous daily record set in 1941. Meteorologists say the heavy rain was due to three consecutive storms hitting the city.
