Powerlifter Kasthuri Rajamani finishes 8th at Paris Paralympics

Kasthuri Rajamani, a powerlifter from Tamil Nadu, participated in the women’s 67kg event at the Paris Paralympics and finished eighth. She matched her personal best of 106kg but failed to lift more. China’s Yujiao Tan set a new world and Paralympic record with an impressive lift of 142kg, winning her third consecutive world championship title.
