Pune doctor ‘abandons’ patient without legs under tree, benched

A junior resident doctor at Pune’s Sassoon General Hospital has been suspended over claims of improper discharge of a patient with amputated legs. An inquiry is underway after the patient was found abandoned under a tree near the hospital. Police investigation ongoing.
