Punjab trying to seize 533 acres unused land: Farmer outfit

The All India Kisan Federation alleges that the Punjab government is trying to seize 533 acres of unused land and collaborate with a private company to sell plots at exorbitant rates. Federation president Prem Singh Bhangu met with Patiala’s deputy commissioner, who has initiated an investigation. Farmers plan to intensify their protests against this action.
