Putin: India could be mediator on Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged ongoing efforts by India, China, and Brazil to mediate the Ukraine conflict. He emphasized India’s constructive ties with Russia and Ukraine. However, India insists on mediating only if both parties request it. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted no specific plans for Indian Prime Minister Modi to mediate currently.
