Qatar World Cup construction workers sue US firm for labor trafficking

A group of Filipino labourers working on the construction of stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar has filed a lawsuit against U.S. construction company Jacobs Solutions Inc. The workers claim that they were exposed to hazardous and inhumane conditions, including cramped living conditions, long hours without access to food and water, and non-payment of wages.
