Opposition members of the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee, including Mahua Moitra, walked out of a meeting investigating cash-for-query charges against the Trinamool MP. They accused the committee chairperson of asking personal and unethical questions. The opposition members also criticized the manner in which the meeting was conducted. The committee chairperson denied the allegations and said that the opposition members behaved unethically and tried to detract from the allegations against Moitra.
