Raipur city may get light Metro train, MoU signed in Moscow

Raipur Municipal Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Russia’s ministry of transport to introduce a light metro train in Raipur. The MoU was signed at the International Transport Summit in Moscow, aiming to improve the city’s transport system with a focus on environmental benefits. A Moscow team will visit Raipur to conduct necessary surveys.
