Ranji Trophy final: MCA to launch Wankhede Stadium’s ‘half-century’ celebrations

Built in 1974, the Wankhede Stadium staged its first Test in the 1974-75 season -from January 23-29, 1975- when West Indies toured India. The Wankhede Stadium has hosted the Ranji final on 11 occasions in the past. This season marks the 89th edition of the Ranji Trophy. Meanwhile, in good news for Mumbai’s cricket fans, the MCA has decided to provide free entry for the spectators.
