Recall tender for Delhi Fire Services HQ construction, says PWD

The Public Works Department has requested the Delhi Fire Services to cancel the tender for the construction of the DFS headquarters. The current office is inadequate and a proposal for a new headquarters was sent in 2012 but has been stuck in the planning stages. The government has given approval for an increased floor area ratio. The new building will have underground basements, control rooms, offices, a dining area, and a library.
