Reliance Jio takes on Google, Amazon: Announces Jio TvOS, JioHome & JioTV+ at RIL 47 AGM

Jio TvOS, a new home-grown OS for the Jio Set-Top Box, was launched at Reliance Industries’ 47th AGM with features like Ultra HD 4K video, Dolby Vision and Atmos. Akash Ambani also introduced JioHome IoT solutions and JioTV+, offering over 860 live channels and personalised content recommendations. The new system integrates voice control and a dedicated app store.
